Interacting with other services
Another great feature of Web clients is that they can do more than just read Web documents: they can also interact with other Internet services. With most Web clients - such as Mosaic or Netscape - you can also display Gopher documents, start telnet sessions, send mail to people, get files by anonymous FTP, and so on. This makes the Web a good collecting place for resources all over the Internet.
